Started in 1952 by brothers Joe and Jimmy Gatto, Gatto’s pizza is more than a Clintonville
tradition it is a family business with strong roots in the community. Not a whole
lot has changed at Gatto’s since the beginning. The business is still family owned
(now by two Gatto brothers and a cousin). Yeast dough is still made fresh daily
and rolled out by hand. The thin crust dough is generously topped with quality ingredients,
baked in the original pizza ovens and cut into the signature square style. Sausage
and meatballs are house made. Bread for the Italian and meatball subs is sourced
locally from Auddino’s bakery.
